Job Description
England Hockey is recruiting for an exceptional Business Administration Co-ordinator to join its People Team. You will be responsible for providing proactive and efficient administrative support to the Executive Directors, in particular the CEO, in the day to day running of the organisation.
You will play a critical role in the preparation for meetings, including the AGM, England and GB Board and Exec, not only in circulating papers and taking minutes but implementing and following up any actions and assisting where appropriate.
You will be a key contact point for the CEO and Executive Directors and will be required to maintain strong relationships with our stakeholders and external partners, disseminating important communications as appropriate.
We are looking for an excellent Administrator with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to build solid, collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be an excellent communicator, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities. Thorough and methodical in your approach, you will thrive in a busy and varied role that requires tact, diplomacy and integrity.
The successful applicant will be a team player who is able to demonstrate previous relevant experience, excellent knowledge of meeting etiquette and clear and concise written communication skills. An interest in corporate governance would be advantageous.
England Hockey is committed to creating an even more diverse and inclusive workforce that will bring different perspectives to our work. We want to make sure that our workforce reflects the population and that everyone feels that England Hockey is a place where they can be themselves and thrive. We offer flexibility to ensure we have the right fit for the role, the organisation and the individual.
We are keen to receive applications from candidates who can support our values, add to our culture, and bring in fresh perspectives and experiences and we would particularly encourage applications from underrepresented communities. If your experience looks a little different from what we’ve identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we’d love to learn more about you.
