Job Description
Purpose:
Coaches who have the experience coaching and managing players of mixed abilities at a Grassroots level to deliver MCFC coaching programs at the City Football Academy in Manchester.
This position will include coaching Player, Team and coach development programs.
The position offers Training & Development in the delivery of the MCFC coaching methodology and Development Pathways and Career Opportunities with the Business
The opportunity to travel when required to deliver short term international projects on behalf of club partners.

Role specific accountabilities:
1
The planning, preparation, and delivery of the MCFC coaching curriculum and methodology.

Create a Positive learning environment connecting and engaging with the players.

Quality assurance of the program delivery. To ensure positive player and parental feedback.

A positive role model and ambassador for MCFC within both on and off field environments, adhering to the positive attitudes, values, and beliefs of MCFC.
5
To work both independently and collectively as part of the coaching team ensuring a positive experience for all the players in our programs.
Role specific knowledge, skills and experience:
Essential:
Minimum FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate
FA Youth coaching awards
Experience coaching Grassroots players of mixed abilities for a minimum of 12 months.
Desirable:
To be working towards UEFA B coaching license.
To have worked in within an educational environment (Teaching, School, Sports college)
The ability to communicate informally and formally with coaches, players, parents, and key business stakeholders.
