Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join The Academy Recruitment Department at Norwich City Football Club in the role of Casual Ireland Academy Scout. This is an excellent role for someone who is self-motivated, team player with a passion for identifying young talent.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Regularly attend U17/19 and senior fixtures
• Identify target players between the ages of U17-U18
• Comprehensive player reports
• Assist with scouting and recruitment coverage
• Management of recruitment databases
• Develop relationships with key footballing stakeholders in the country
• Assist in organisation of trials for any eligible players
The following Criteria are essential:
• Knowledge of local football
• Experience or a background in scouting
• Self-motivated and committed
• A strategic planner, organiser and co-ordinator
• Confident with the ability to work individually and as part of a successful team
• A ‘people person’ with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literate
• FA Scouting Certificate
