ABOUT THE ROLE
Barker College is currently seeking an experienced Rowing Head Coach based at our Hornsby campus. Barker Rowing is an inclusive program in its infancy. It includes Learn to Row, competitive and recreation options. Barker competes at co-ed regattas and Schoolgirl/Schoolboy Head of the River.
Reporting to the Coordinator of Rowing, responsibilities include:
- Oversight and responsibility for the entire Rowing Program including leadership, development of coaching staff, leading and supporting coaching practices, student welfare and managing of all administrative and operational requirements
- Development and continued improvement of the technical rowing model and the planning and facilitation of camps throughout the year
- Presence and leadership at regattas and training
- Cultivation of a culture that reflects the values of Barker College.
