Job Description
Overview:
The CEO, will work closely with the Board of up to 8 non-executive directors and report to the Chairman, he/she will ensure robust governance for the sport, excellent levels of service for all members and stakeholders, and be responsible for the continued promotion, development and growth of a sustainable Olympic sport.
To be successful in the role, the selected individual will need excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and experience of managing an organisation(s) through a significant programme of change. A decisive and proactive approach is essential as is the ability to successfully engage with a diverse range of stakeholder groups. Current knowledge of national and international sport is preferred combined with a knowledge of elite sport and UK High Performance programmes. Knowledge of, or participation in equestrian sport is highly desirable. Commercial acumen and experience of managing transformation programmes is also preferred.
