Job Description

Are you aged between 19 and 24 and have an interest in Health & Wellbeing? If so – we are looking to recruit an ambitious, motivated individual who is passionate about the impact of health and fitness within the community.
The aim of this role is to promote behavioural change through sport and physical activity working across a variety of projects in West London. You will obtain knowledge in planning and organising community projects, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in improving the health of the nation.
Support the Community Trust in maintaining the high standards set out in both the delivery & co-ordination of Trust Programmes. This is to include (not exhaustive) the assistance in delivery of:
– Curricular & extra-curricular sessions within schools including primary school health promotion and ‘cook and eat’ secondary school delivery.
– Over 65s health and social clubs – both in the community and within care homes
– Youth engagement sessions
– Holiday sessions – which may include food and health promotion
– Cook and eat – physical activity and cookery programme for local families
– FIT FANS – a health programme for men and women aged 35-65 who are looking to lose weight, get fitter and lead a more active life.
– Local health promotion events and activities with partners
– Data entry onto our monitoring and evaluating system, VIEWS (soon to be Salesforce). Ensure monitoring and evaluation data on our M&E system is current and comprehensive and in adherence with General Data Protection regulations (GDPR)
– Support staff in identifying suitable pathways and opportunities for participants.
