Job Description

Full time – 36.25 hours per week OR we would consider Part Time, with a minimum of 21.75 hours per week.

As an Event Support Executive, you will be part of the Event Services & Development Team supporting organisers to plan and deliver great event experiences through swim, bike, run.

We are searching for an enthusiastic, motivated, and positive individual, with knowledge and experience of building relationships and events management. You will be comfortable working within a team environment, be able to understand and create best practice, and share with the event community to help improve events. Alongside your excellent communication skills, your innovative and collaborative approach will help provide solutions that grow the delivery of swim, bike, run events. You will also be organised, have an eye for detail, and the ability to use a variety of IT packages and systems to support you in efficiently managing your role.

Each day you will be:
• Engaging with event organisers to build long lasting relationships to grow swim, bike, run events.
• Ensuring event organisers’ events meet national governing body standards to make sure everyone has a safe, fair, and great experience.
• Working with event organisers on key projects to inspire more people to get involved with multisport events.
• Assisting with general event enquiries, providing exceptional customer service.

Successful working relationships are key to any role. Our new Event Support Executive will report into the Events Services and Development Manager. The successful candidate will be an integral and valued member of the Events Team, working as one of three Event Support Executives. Our Event Support Executives thrive by developing and maintaining close working relationships with other team members and event organisers. There is also the opportunity to take on wider responsibilities within the team, to continually develop the role.

The role will benefit from our successful hybrid working model, where Tuesday to Thursday all colleagues work from our Loughborough head office, providing a supportive, collaborative, and fun working environment, and flexible working on Mondays and Fridays, working from home as work commitments allow.
