Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, and indirectly to the CEO, the Finance & Payroll Coordinator will play an integral role in providing support to the Executive Team; primarily involving the processing of day-to-day finance transactions, the preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliations and fortnightly payroll processing.
A close working relationship with affiliated bodies, relevant stakeholders and internal staff will be essential to the successful achievement of this position’s objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day financial transaction and invoice processing
- PL & BS review & reconciliation for monthly management reports
- Administration of fortnightly payroll
- Preparation & lodgement of quarterly BAS and monthly IAS.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong knowledge of Xero, including payroll
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Knowledge of BAS submission process
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and other Microsoft tools.
This role is a full time position, working 37½ hours per week.
