Job Description

Derbyshire County Cricket Club have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Person to join our team and contribute towards the ongoing delivery of a top-quality cricket pitch and practice facilities during the cricket season. In addition, this role has ground wide maintenance duties to ensure all stadium, conference and events are delivered to a high standard.

This role has a 40 hour working week March to September, to cover the cricket season, and a 27.5 hour working week October to February.

The successful applicant will preferably have:
• Good experience within cricket ground maintenance or greenkeeping
• An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in sport turf management
• PA1, PA2 and PA6 pesticide spraying certificates
• A good knowledge of cricket ground maintenance
• Have a strong work ethic with high standards of work and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills
• To understand, follow and implement health and safety requirements
• To be a team-player

What we can offer you:
• A salary of circa £22-24,000 dependent upon experience
