The Head of Athletics will work in conjunction with the Head of Athletic Development, Sport staff and the Health and Physical Education Department, in planning and implementing a structured Athletics program that provides participation opportunities for all students, maximizes skill development, and focuses on the pursuit of excellence, enjoyment, and teamwork.

The role will provide direction and mentoring to the coaches to ensure that the program is delivered effectively for all athletes and provides an integrated and progressive pathway for Melbourne Grammar School students.

You will have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High Degree of initiative 
• Demonstrated leadership capability.
• Relevant Coaching Accreditation 
• The ability to effectively plan and implement Athletics coaching program.

This is a fixed term (12 months) part time (0.5 FTE) position. FTE subject to change.

This role will involve weekly sessions, Saturday sessions and School Holidays.
