About the centre
Casey Stadium is located in Cranbourne East as a staple facility within the Casey Complex precinct and has a long history of providing indoor sporting experience to the surrounding community. Our café and catering offerings source quality food, offer a varied and innovative menu with the flexibility to cater for all, serviced by an experienced team of professionals who pride themselves on superior service and excellence.
About the role
As the Indoor Sports and Programs Coordinator, you are responsible for leading the Indoor Soccer & Indoor Cricket competitions, children’s and inclusion programs. You will also be responsible for delivering positive and engaging experiences for participants in a range of inclusive programs with specific target groups such as but not limited to disability groups, multicultural communities as well as senior and women’s participation.
Key duties of the role will require you to:
- Develop and implement programs and competitions alongside the Senior Centre Coordinator to cater for community members and groups such as however not limited to; Children and young people, Seniors, Families, People with physical, intellectual, sensory disabilities, mental or chronic illnesses, People from different cultural backgrounds, People with limited resources/opportunity.
- Identify opportunities to form collaborative partnerships to assist in developing programs that will benefit the community.
- Be innovative in identifying services that can be provided to the broader community.
- Have the ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships.
- Build relationships which create opportunities for the Centre to host for major events.
- Maintain a focus on the sustainability of programs and competitions. This may involve identifying and accessing grants and fundraising.
- Manage any elite sporting teams to raise the profile of indoor cricket and develop the club to become an industry leader.
- Provide leadership to the relevant sporting committee and volunteer group to ensure organisation and on field success.
This is a full time position and the yearly salary is $60,803 + Super.
Essential Qualifications
- First Aid certificate
- CPR certificate
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

- Tertiary qualification in recreation / sport or related field
- Beginner Coach Course
- Barista Training
