Job Description
The recruitment of our new National Development Manager roles represents the exciting next phase in the implementation of Triathlon England’s BIG Active Strategy.
You will be at the very centre of the action, managing, activating, and bringing to life new programmes, projects, and partnerships throughout England.
Our National Events and Programmes Activation Manager role will be largely external-facing, building a range of local, as well as regional and national partnerships, and converting them into swim, bike, run provision for people and communities. This will be achieved through our events and programmes, and also through bespoke and innovative applications of swim, bike and run activity. In this way, we are seeking to work within, across, and alongside ecosystems in a number of priority communities across England. This will embed swim, bike, run into the way in which people and communities enjoy and benefit from sport and physical activity, tackling inherent and stubborn inequalities, and focusing on those with the most barriers to engagement.
We’re searching for someone with a strong knowledge and experience of working within the sport and physical activity landscape at all levels, who thrives in dynamic environments. They will need to not only develop and maintain strong relationships, but convert them into action, delivery, and impact. Interpersonal and influencing skills will be essential as this new role seeks to take swim, bike, run, and Triathlon into a vast range of new and diverse settings across the breadth and depth of England.
