MyFirstGym is a one stop shop for children’s fitness. We offer over a variety of classes on one simple timetable that allows parents to cover all of their children’s movement needs under one roof. Our mission is to be the leader in children’s fitness and give every community access to our programs. We are a franchise organisation with 14 locations throughout Australia and growing rapidly. Our NSW Operations Manager will play an integral part in the success of the NSW network.

Qualifications & experience

• Minimum 2 years multi site management experience (ideally within the fitness, sports and recreation or childcare industries)
• Sports or fitness qualifications will be an advantage
• Experience within a Franchise organisation will also be an advantage
• Valid Working With Children Check

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assist Franchisees and Club Managers to achieve benchmarks and standards in areas such as sales, retention, coach performance, class utilisation and member engagement.
• Develop, execute and regularly update simple processes/systems to ensure the smooth day to day operations of clubs
• Identify efficiencies within areas of responsibility and implement strategies to capitalise on them
• Manage and develop relationships with Franchisees and Area Developers to ensure a quality working environment
• Work within the MyFirstGym Franchisee Support framework to ensure that the network has what they need to be successful
• Create a high performance environment that delivers excellence in work, professionalism, maturity and personal standards at all times
• Troubleshoot and solve any ad hoc issues or enquiries that arise within areas of responsibility
• Ensure compliance to internal and external requirements outlined within areas of responsibility
• Identify gaps within the support framework and develop solutions to avoid ongoing issues
• Work collaboratively with the CEO on ad hoc projects to ensure strong business outcomes
