Job Description
Founded in 1882, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is an English Premier League Club, based in North London.
Led by the late great Bill Nicholson, the Club became the first in England to win the League and FA Cup Double in 1961, and the first in the UK to win a European Trophy two years later. Spurs has since been home to some of the game’s great entertainers, including Jimmy Greaves, Glenn Hoddle, Paul Gascoigne, David Ginola, Gareth Bale, Heung-Min Son, and Harry Kane.
In April 2019, the Club opened an iconic new stadium that sits at the heart of a £1billion sport-led regeneration of North Tottenham. The stadium is the largest football club stadium in London and is a multi-use venue with the ability to host a variety of events 365 days a year, including NFL, boxing, rugby, concerts, and other major events, plus visitor attractions including Stadium Tours and the Dare Skywalk.
The stadium development scheme has to date created more than 4,000 new jobs for local people, with circa £300m pumped into the local economy each year.

The Club is seeking an experienced Partnership Development Sales professional who will be responsible for generating leads and closing sponsorship agreements for the team and stadium. The successful candidate should be able to provide a documented history of successful sales.
JOB PURPOSE:
Lead the development of high value partnership and sales opportunities through the creation of sales presentations, client experience demos and the structuring of deal terms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive partnership and business development strategies to increase revenue.
• Structure, negotiate, and close new partnership deals.
• Support all strategic initiatives with the relevant research, market/partner intelligence, and deal analytics to aid in strategic decision making.
• Prioritize and manage multiple sales prospects simultaneously and follow up on pitches in a timely manner.
• Build, develop and track robust new revenue pipeline and present to senior leadership.
• Examine industry-wide best practices and new ideas for implementation.
• In partnership with commercial planning team, create product marketing strategy to establish THFC as a thought leader and go-to partner.
• Prospect, research, and close sponsorship partnerships for THFC and THFC Stadium
• Identify and assess key revenue drivers and risks related to potential transactions.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• The nature of this role might require out of hours working including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

• Experience in an agency, brand, digital platform, or rights holder working in commercial partnership development.
• Creative thinker with an innovative outlook and ability to inspire creativity in others.

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive and entrepreneurial approach
