Job Description
Chinnor RFC are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Physiotherapist/Sport Rehabilitator/Sport Therapist to join their medical team for the upcoming 2023/24 season, to provide services on training nights and matchdays throughout the season for our men’s senior squad.
Level: National 1 Rugby Union – English 3rd Division
(Semi-professional)
Salary: Competitive
Working Hours: 6-9pm Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturdays (Home games 1-6pm, Away games variable depending on travel) with the occasional Friday evening fixture
Location: Chinnor RFC, Kingsey Road, Thame,
Oxfordshire, OX9 3JL
Roles & Responsibilities:
– Providing assessments, diagnoses, treatments and rehabilitation during training nights/matchdays for senior squad members
– Providing pitch side first aid/immediate care for players during matchdays
– Pre-match taping/strapping and massage
– Accurate recording of medical notes
– Reporting of accurate information regarding injury status of players to head of medical/coaching staff
Essential Criteria:
– BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy/Sport
Rehabilitation/Sports Therapy
– Accreditation with
CSP/HCPC/BASRaT/STT or other appropriate governing body
– Pitchside first aid/trauma qualification
(PHICIS preferred) or willingness to undertake
