Job Description
Bryanston currently has exciting opportunities for passionate graduates to assist with our sport provision.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a forward-thinking school, with a focus on the individual at our heart. Are you a go-getter with a passion for sport? If so, this role is for you. Initially for a year, but with potential to extend, this would ideally suit a graduate interested in gaining experience in coaching, teaching or an area of sports science support such as S&C or sports analysis. It provides the opportunity to work with our large and thriving Physical Education and Sports departments, both of which are core spheres of our distinctive co-ed boarding school.
There is a vibrant community of staff living on site, many of whom undertake residential boarding house duties with accommodation provided. Full induction and support will be available, and although this is an appointment for one academic year in the first instance, there may be an opportunity for the right candidate to have their employment extended as part of our in-post PGCE teacher training or coaching programmes.
Bryanston offers a competitive package including free accommodation, utilities, meals and gym membership in a fantastic working environment.
Closing date for applications: Sunday, 16 April 2023
Bryanston is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
