Job Description
Schools & Community Cricket Development Officer
Fixed Term Contract: Initially to September 2024
Salary: £18 000 – £22 000 Subject to Experience
Role: To work in supporting growth within the game in Staffordshire through different distribution channels:-
• Schools (Primary & Secondary)
• Diverse communities
• Core Cities
• Community outreach
• Disability
• Women & Girls
This role requires:
• Experience of working within Cricket or wider sports development with particular emphasis on growth markets :- Women & Girls, Disability, Multi –Cultural Communities
• ECB Foundation 1, Core Coach or Level 2 coaching qualification
• DBS, Safeguarding Young Cricketers accreditation
• Clean driving licence
• Ability to think creatively, be innovative and bold in developing new concepts and offers for casual cricket
• Experience of community engagement
• Knowledge of Growth Markets in particular urban and rural communities
• Innovation, Creativity & problem solving
• Politically sensitive and culturally aware
• Creative and independent thinker with no limitations
• Tenacious and driven individual
• Capacity to learn and adapt
• Team working and personal impact
• Negotiation and communication skills
