Experienced youth soccer coach wanted immediately to help young players develop good footwork and develop the ability to play in tight spaces. Coaches need a personality that engages and nurtures a young player’s desire to learn. Coaches also need to be very good technically (so should have a good playing and coaching background which needs to be included in the application) as coaches need to be able to do (and coach) all the footwork patterns on the TST footwork curriculum. [ Coaches are required to learn and teach the TST footwork curriculum. This may require some studying initially to get on the same page as all other coaches in the program].

Coaches are required EVERY SATURDAY AFTERNOON (in school term time) from 2-5.30pm, all year round (except school holidays). [Saturday is only day we run our program. We do not do any other sessions at any other time].

Coaches also need to commit to at least ONE FULL TERM of coaching (approx. 10 sessions). There are no short term/weekly/casual positions. Coaches who cannot commit to this should not apply.

The top pay rate is excellent if you are a top coach, and we are happy to pay more for the very best coaches. If you think you are worth more, then let us know. Pay is paid as a lump sum at the end the term and is conditional on coaching throughout the term (unless otherwise agreed). There is also an end of year bonus payment that may apply.

• Are you living in Melbourne, Australia, right now?
• Are you available to coach on Saturday afternoons (from 2pm to 5.30pm) during school terms in Camberwell?
• What was the highest level you played? Can you demonstrate and teach good footwork techniques to young players?
• What is your coaching history? [What coaching have you done in the past and what coaching are you currently doing ? We are looking for applicants who are keen to make coaching a full time career or are already a full time coach.]
• Your supporting notes should demonstrate that you are an experienced player and coach with good technical ability and a technical mindset.

Applications that do not cover the above in the supporting notes will be rejected immediately. This will be the first thing we look at.
