The role of Sport Communications & Workforce Officer will join our team at DMUsport with the purpose of working with DMUsport Club committees, DMU activators, sport coaches and colleagues throughout the university and Students’ Union to facilitate an inclusive environment to provide sport and physical activity opportunities to DMU students.

The role will empower DMU student leaders to reach their potential developing appropriate training and support structures to develop life skills to enhance their employability upon graduation. You will also raise the profile of sport across the University through marketing and communication strategies for the department.

This role will work with all colleagues across the department throughout the academic year as the operational lead of DMUsport marketing and communications, as well as enhancing the offer provided to our student leaders across all programmes. This will be underpinned by considerable collaborative working, adherence to relevant health and safety policies and development of processes and systems to support delivery.
