About Sport4All

The Sport4All (S4A) program has been commissioned and funded by the Federal Government to assist sporting clubs and school sport to be more accessible and inclusive for people with disability from all backgrounds. The program aims to target participants nationwide through partnerships with local governments, schools, clubs, and disability communities. The S4A national expansion includes an important strategic focus on engaging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, building community and economic participation while supporting positive health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability.

Sport4All State Manager role

Get Skilled Access are seeking a person who has disability or lived experience of disability; who has been involved in sport, is self-motivated and a great team leader to fill 3 separate State Manager positions (NSW/ACT, QLD/NT, WA). This exciting role will have you lead a team of Sport4All Inclusion Coaches to change the face of disability inclusion in sporting clubs and schools across your State. You will also work collaboratively with the Sport4All National Manager on the program strategy. 

We are led by the lived experience in all that we do at GSA, and accordingly encourage people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and all other intersections with the disability community to apply.

Key responsibilities and activities of the role would include:

  • Building connection with local communities reflective of all populations across your State
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders in your state, including State Sporting Organisations and State Disability Sporting Organisations
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with the Education Department, schools and school sport program leaders
  • Developing and implementing program strategy
  • Effective coaching and development of your team of Inclusion Coaches
  • Working closely with the GSA Sport4All team and the Sport4All National Program Manager to meet program milestones
  • Helping to plan and deliver State-based Sport4All events
  • Ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency in the delivery of Sport4All in your State
  • Contributing to the nationwide program evaluation strategy
  • Helping to implement the marketing strategy for your State(s)
  • Identifying inclusion gaps within the sport industry in your State(s)
  • Maintaining records and data on State community engagement of the Sport4All Program as well as participation of people with disability in sport within your State(s)
