Job Description
We are looking for someone with a passion for sports to fill the Fulltime position of Sports Program Team Leader at Y Leisure City in Epping. Y Leisure City is a fun, engaging place to work with a supportive team environment and the opportunity for personal development and growth.
Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Support and lead the sports programs
- Assist with staff management i.e., recruitment, onboarding, rostering, development, training, coaching.
- Deliver administration support to a variety of sports programs
- Assist management in evolving the sports program strategies
- Act as the Shift Supervisor
- Lead and promote a positive safety culture
- Providing excellent customer service to our members and guests
- Maintain and promote the center’s programs and services to our members and guests

About you:
If you feel you meet what we are looking for in terms of:
- Recognised sports administration qualification or 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven time management and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership
- Able to develop effective working relationships
- Positive ‘can do’ and solution-focused attitude
- Ability to demonstrate respect and integrity
- Proven time management and organisational skills
- Passion for self-development and developing staff to be the best they can be in their role

Mandatory Requirements/Qualifications
- Current Employee Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
