Job Description
Our charity, Herts Disability Sports Foundation (HDSF), is at the beginning of an exciting new period of change and we are looking for a Project Officer who will deliver and develop our Community programmes for physical activity and sports services. This is a new role and we are looking for someone who will have an immediate impact on the management and delivery of our Community programmes – supporting our aim to increase our reach across Hertfordshire, delivering more activities to more participants! About Herts Disability Sports Foundation
HDSF is a relatively small charity working to support adults and children in Hertfordshire with physical and/or learning disabilities to participate in recreational sporting activities. We work with a diverse range of partners including Day Services, special schools and community groups to provide a variety of physical activities.
We offer a fully inclusive service which includes;
• indoor and outdoor activities including boxercise, keep fit, archery
and a range of water based activities,
• cycling opportunities for young people and adults across
Hertfordshire,
• a range of online activities,
• holiday activities for children with physical or learning disabilities
and their siblings,
• delivery through Day Services and special schools,
• delivering training sessions on team building and disability
awareness.

Salary
This is a permanent, full time role with a salary of £25,000.
Safeguarding
As part of our Safeguarding procedures, the successful candidate will be required to supply references and provide necessary documentation to receive Enhanced DBS clearance.
