About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Tennis, this position is responsible for delivering a variety of lesson programs, building relationships with members and guests to provide an exceptional experience. This is a casual role with the potential to earn between $45 to $75 per hour depending on level of qualifications, experience and availability to perform minimum hours on Club Tennis Programs. Availability is required on Saturdays and Sundays delivering lessons between 7am till 8:30pm.

Key tasks of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Running existing and new group lessons and Club program
  • Coordinating and conducting individual and group tennis lessons, including Club programs.
  • Involved in the coordination of and running school holiday programs
  • Assessing members and guests’ tennis skills to determine areas in need of improvement.
  • Developing suitable training programs for members and guests based on a termly program
  • Delivering Hot Shots Tennis especially for Orange & Green Stage
  • Attends meetings and Club events as directed by the Director of Tennis
  • Builds rapport and professional relationships with members and guests on site
  • Conducts restringing of racquets
  • Maintaining an organised weekly lesson schedule updating court bookings, cancellations and lesson availability

What does the Club need from me?

  • Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays delivering lessons between 7am till 8:30pm.
  • HLTAAID011 – Provide First Aid (Essential)
  • Proven experience working within a Coaching Team
  • The ability to plan and deliver lessons for all ages and stages
  • The ability to engage and inspire people to join weekly competitions and social tennis events
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • A passion for tennis
  • Tennis Australia Coach Member (preferred)
  • Current Working with Children Check
