Job Description
As an independent non-executive director, you will be providing strategic leadership to the Triathlon England Management Board (‘TEMB’) and the senior management team regarding financial matters.
In this role you will be contributing fully to TEMB discussion and activity across the whole strategy, as well as providing advice and counsel to senior management on financial matters. You will help to maintain high standards of financial integrity across Triathlon England, as well as being an active member of the Remuneration Committee and the Audit, Risk, & Governance Committee.
We’re searching for someone who can demonstrate exceptional knowledge and experience in two (or more) of the following areas:
• a proven track record of success as a key organisational player, significantly involved in delivering strategic and commercial objectives within the private, public, or voluntary sector;
• a background in finance with experience at both operational and strategic levels;
• professional accountancy qualifications;
• a working knowledge of sport and the impact of sport in society;
• a working knowledge of commercial partnerships.
Triathlon England is passionate about developing an environment that makes us the world’s leading triathlon nation, enabling success and increasing participation. We’re looking for people that can bring skills and ambition to an inclusive, people-centred organisation, who are determined to create positive impact, and who value doing what’s right above doing what is expected.
