St Joseph’s College is a vibrant independent day and boarding school in Ipswich providing a broad and seamless education for over 590 boys and girls aged 2 – 18. Our innovative teaching and subsequent success starts in the Prep School and runs all the way through the Senior School and Sixth Form.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful, committed and well-established Sports Faculty. The department has a long-standing history of success at local, regional and national levels across a range of sports. We are privileged to boast amazing facilities which are all on-site, including sports halls, award-winning outdoor pitches, state-of-the-art all weather surface and purpose-built strength and conditioning gym which is accessible to all students.
We have strong links with local clubs and community providers as well as high-level sporting organisations, the College is the official College partner of Ealing Trailfinders Rugby in addition to working closely with Northampton Saint and other Premiership Rugby Clubs. The College also works in partnership with Ipswich Town Football Club.
We are seeking to appoint a Sport Volunteer with a specialism in athletic development/performance analysis to join our amazing faculty, with experience in delivering athletic development/performance analysis in one or more of our four performance sports (Rugby, Football, Netball and Cricket). The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, well organised and demonstrate a genuine commitment to driving sports performance at the college.
Support and professional development are a priority at St Joseph’s College. We invest in our staff by providing regular coaching, career planning and training sessions. We have an “open door” lesson policy which ensures you receive extensive support and we promote peer-to-peer sharing of practice, all designed to help you be the best practitioner you can be.
